Anita Pallenberg has died aged 73, it was announced this morning.
One of the 20th century's great fashion icons, Pallenberg's signature look- eclectic, experimental, bohemian and coolly glamorous- reflected her life as a model, actress and honourary member of the Rolling Stones.
Later in life, Pallenberg made her love of clothes official, studying for a degree in Fashion and Textiles at Central St Martins.
This look- which Pallenberg chose for the 1970 premiere of the film 'Performance' in which she starred alongside Mick Jagger- crystallises her inherent style,  portraying her spin on 20s evening glamour in a furry jacket, slip dress and sequin cap. 



Flying to Morocco with Marianne Faithful in 1967. Pallenberg sported a mini dress and feather boa.... just because. 

Dashing through London in 1965, Pallenberg pulls of double-stripes brilliantly.
